The Penn State Alumni AssociationWhat’s been happening: After a long career in broadcast and print journalism, I returned to Penn State in late 1990s and eventually became first director of the Penn State All-Sports Museum, retiring at the end of 2005. I continue to be involved in writing about Penn State's sport history for various publications, including four books: The Penn State Football Encyclopedia, What It Means to Be a Nittany Lion (with co-author Scott Brown), The Penn State Football Vault, and Greatest Plays in Penn State Football, with several other book projects in progress. In 2009, the former Carole Harpster and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary along with our three children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Who would have ever believed all this when I was on campus and spending most of my time at The Daily Collegian? We Are...Penn State! |
